I have always been fascinated by the human experience and how relationships shape our lives. My career background is rooted in theatre, holistic therapy and education. I have been supporting the wellbeing of people from all walks of life for fifteen years, and have worked extensively in student wellbeing and mental health in various settings, from secondary, through to higher education. In recent years, I worked at the Bristol School of Art supporting the mental health of artists in training.
My counselling training began in 2016 and I later completed the BACP Accredited Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling at Iron Mill, in Exeter. I am a Registered BACP member and follow their Ethical Framework and Professional Guidelines.
I am proud to work as a Therapeutic Practitioner for Rockabye, a valued Bristol charity which aims to support and nourish parents relationships with their babies through weekly group sessions. This work is important to me as this first profound relationship experience is the one that affects all that follow.
Having grown up in the wilds of Wales spending time in nature is vital to me. I also love trying to maintain a daily home yoga practice. I live in East Bristol with my family and my speedy dog.
